OBAMA
to many of you, you may be wondering why i chose to list Obama first. no it’s not because i’m going in reverse alphabetical order. it is because i feel he is the best choice for president. not only is Obama a very influencial speaker. he promises a better world for the citizens and soldiers of the United States. his plan for the war is simple.
‘Obama will immediately begin to remove our troops from Iraq. He will remove one to two combat brigades each month, and have all of our combat brigades out of Iraq within 16 months. Obama will make it clear that we will not build any permanent bases in Iraq. He will keep some troops in Iraq to protect our embassy and diplomats; if al Qaeda attempts to build a base within Iraq, he will keep troops in Iraq or elsewhere in the region to carry out targeted strikes on al Qaeda.’ http://www.barackobama.com/issues/iraq/
yes this does seem very promising and almost far fetch’d, but this is what i believed we should have been doing from the beginning. we don’t need all of these unneccesary troops just sitting out there to get shot.
as for the government and their wasteful spending. Obama has plans for that as well. here is just one of those plans
‘End Wasteful Government Spending: Obama will stop funding wasteful, obsolete federal government programs that make no financial sense. Obama has called for an end to subsidies for oil and gas companies that are enjoying record profits, as well as the elimination of subsidies to the private student loan industry which has repeatedly used unethical business practices. Obama will also tackle wasteful spending in the Medicare program.’

yes, i am going to vote for Obama. not only will he be the first minority president but i feel he is the right choice for this country.
